The Department of Homeland Security has, though its United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team issued this week its latest list of computer and computer software security patches and updates necessary to be downloaded to your computers, laptops, smartphones and other devices to keep them as secure as possible and to minimize your vulnerability to hacking, scams and identity theft.  The list classifies the risks based on being, high risk, medium risk or low risk.    It is critical, if you use any of the programs or software described as high risk, that you install the necessary updates and patches to make your computer use as secure as possible.  This week’s list, which is provided in full in the link below contains a number of critical security patches and updates for Apple products.  I urge you to click on the link below and download whatever security patches apply to you. Failure to do so can lead to identity theft or worse.
